Eka Software Solutions, the leading global provider of Smart Commodity Management software solutions, was felicitated by NASSCOM for being one of India’s top Ten emerging software companies as part of its EMERGE forum.
NASSCOM EMERGE initiative is targeted at emerging software companies from India that are redefining the benchmark of excellence for the Indian IT industry. Eka Software is only one of two product companies that made it to the top ten. High potential growth along with focus on domain specialization were some of the key parameters in the selection process that brought Eka to the fore under the EMERGE PRODUCTS category.
Out of 205 entries received across four categories of (37 in the Growth category, 67 in Services, 58 in Products and 43 in markets), only 50 companies where shortlisted, from which the top 10 were finally selected. In the exhaustive selection process, NASSCOM’s jury members met with the 50 shortlisted companies who had to present the market scenario, their service or solution, business model and growth strategies. The selection criteria included key differentiators, the presence of the company in emerging/domestic markets, growth rate over the past 2- 3 years, unique value proposition, the organizational work model i.e. the efficacy of the management team, as well as unique delivery model. Describing the winners, the jury members stated that these are companies which are identified and recognized as great potential companies in the making, who can be treated as role models and a source of inspiration to others.
