Joint venture between Cargill, Noble Group, Emerald Grain, and Qube Logistics to use Eka software to manage its agriculture supply chain.

Eka Software Solutions, the leading global provider of Smart Commodity Management software solutions, announced today that Quattro Grain has selected Eka’s InSight CM – Site Automation Control solution to manage process planning, scheduling, task execution, material tracking, grain receival, grain transfers, and inventory management.

Quattro Grain is a joint venture between Cargill, Noble Group, Emerald Grain, and Qube Logistics to build a new, multi-commodity grain handling and export facility at Port Kembla in New South Wales, Australia. The facility will have the capacity to handle in excess of 1.3 million tonnes of export grain per year.

When evaluating solutions, Quattro Grain sought a state of the art site automation system that was modular and scalable to support expected business growth. Eka’s integrated automation solution encapsulates all the facility processes into a single system, providing unprecedented accuracy in inventory and quality tracking.
