Eka Software Solutions, the leading global provider of Smart Commodity Management software solutions, today announces new appointments to the management team. Eka’s international management team is strengthened with the appointments of Rick Nelson as President and COO, and Julie Hance, who joins as Senior Vice President – Strategy and Product Management from Itron International, both of whom will be based in the US, while Mumu Pande joins as Vice President – Engineering and will be based in Bangalore.

In the last year Eka has grown significantly, going from strength to strength in Europe and America, with YOY growth of 33% and record levels of license revenues and new implementations. Product development continues apace, driven by the global commodities markets’ demands for ever more sophisticated trading and risk management technology. Manav Garg, founder and CEO commented: “I am very pleased to have Rick as COO. He has been making a tremendous contribution to the company’s growth and I have confidence in his abilities to deliver on our ambitious growth strategy. Rick, Julie and Mumu are all real assets for Eka and I feel very fortunate to have them as key members of our management team. Our focus has always been our customers and as we grow, it is our priority to continue to have a close relationship with them, aligning ourselves with their needs and providing them with a competitive edge through technology.”
